Welcome to the Kangarilla CFS Brigade website.

Volunteering makes great mates

This site has been created specifically for members of the local Kangarilla Community and surrounding districts.

The information provided in these pages is intended to assist the community in their efforts to protect themselves and their property in the event of an emergency situation, whether from fire, floods or storm damage.

Please take a little time to learn about the people, the camaraderie, the commitment, dedication and culture of this group of volunteers.

It’s not just for grown ups either. There is an information page about the next generation of volunteers coming up through the ranks. These are the young men and women who will one day fill the boots of the current members.

You may even know of some young people who would benefit from involvement in this group. If so, please contact us or better still, have them contact us for an informal and friendly chat.

Volunteering is an immensely rewarding activity. There is a sense of involvement and connection with the community and yes – a pride – in knowing that you are contributing in a positive way to the well-being of the area where you live, and making a difference that may mean everything to someone.
